Strengthening Manpower at Printprocess AG

Sven Ehrat

Printprocess AG, well known as a manufacturer of direct imagesetters and machines for multilayer production, has increased sales and has introduced its new Head of Sales West & Business Development. Mr. Sven Ehrat looks back on 22 years of management work in circuitboard production. A graduate mechanical engineer and Master in Business Administration, Sven has been responsible for production at Varioprint AG for the previous 7 years.
Patrick Maurer, managing director and partner, and Thomas Schmidt, responsible for sales in the east and managing director of both Printprocess subsidiaries in Germany and China, are looking forward to working together.
“We are sure that with Sven Ehrat we have gained another inspiration and industry expert for the future development of Printprocess AG and its products. Thanks to his training, extensive experience in the printed circuit board industry and international sales and consulting activities, we are convinced that he will transfer the concerns and challenges of the market into the products”, said Managing Director Patrick Maurer.
“I am very happy to bring my experience from the operation and management of production facilities to Printprocess’ products. My goal is to understand and question the customers’ processes in order to identify the best possible solutions. The manifested lean concept should be noticeable in the systems.” said Ehrat.

Covid-19


Printprocess AG confirms that maintenance and service operations are guaranteed, despite constantly changing legal COVID-19 regulations. We provide service in terms of maintaining system-relevant processes. System-related delays may occur in individual cases. This means that operations can continue without relevant restrictions. Printprocess AG adheres to the relevant guidelines of the Federal Office of Public Health (BAG) and takes appropriate measures at the locations, the primary goal of which is to ensure the health of all parties involved in order to ensure that operations can continue. In this way, visits were reduced to the bare minimum and customers were only visited in urgent cases. Some of our employees works in the home-office in order to keep contacts as minimal as possible. Alternatively, video/phone conferences and remote-maintenance systems were increasingly used. To date, Printprocess AG has been able to carry out all service assignments from Switzerland. Scenarios in case of Emergency are prepared to guarantee our Service Support.
